Thank you all for your warm farewell! I am touched by your kind words.
These two years in Canada was a great new adventure for me, a big journey. With ups and downs, of course, but in total a valuable experience. In this journey, the Laval Club and it’s people were a safe harbor for me – a continuous source of energy, inspiration and positive thinking!
Letting me use the excellent Club’s telescope was valuable to me – THANK YOU! it allowed me to continue my observations and feel like home.
I deeply appreciate each and everyone of you and I am very glad that I have met you. I am proud to be a member of this Club, I will always be a member!
We are Amateur Astronomers and this means much more than knowledge and methods and techniques – we share common values in life and way of thinking: Love for life, love for Nature and respect of Humanity, solidarity, commitment.
I could clearly see this in every club meetings and activities and at Camp de printemps at Mont Tremblant. Keep up the good work!
I am going back home now and I am very happy for that. But I hope sooner or later our routes will cross again! Maybe even before the 2024 total solar eclipse in Montreal!
My warmest greetings and best wishes to each and everyone of you!
Au revoir mes amis!
And many thanks and greetings from Kyriaki, who you can see in the photo above. That’s in Greece, a few years ago!
