After the observation of a predicted occultation event, observers must send a report to IOTA. We should report not only positive observations, but negative as well. All they are very important for the data reduction by astronomers.
Here I am attaching a report I made for a negative (miss) observation of (1597) Laugier on November 3, with the CAAL 20-cm SCT. The report is an EXCEL file, where you can practice by re-entering or changing the information in the text fields. If some things need to be clarified, with pleasure I will help you complete your report forms!
IOTA Report: 20141103_1597_Laugier_TYC_0091_00318_1_Tsamis
Here is a youtube video of the event. The field is correct-oriented (North-up, East-left) and the target star was the star on the far right (West). No occultation!
